Protecting ceramic coatings with the material Belzona 1331.

Pompax Service Center is particularly focused on securing service coatings using the Belzona method.
Thanks to the ability of thick, not running down coating after applying just one layer and high resistance to erosion, Belzona 1331 is perfect as an epoxy coating of pipes protecting circumferential joints of internal connections.
This new generation coating does not include fillers and is applied by spraying and ensures resistant protection with a ceramic coating, not causing the wear or damage of the spraying equipment.

Main advantages:

Perfect resistance to erosion and corrosion in immersion.

Quick application using the method of airless spraying without the use of spraying equipment. If necessary, it can also be applied using a brush.

It can be applied as a single- or double-coating system. The time between applying the first and the second layer amounts to 24 hours.

The ability of applying a single thick, non-sagging layer (> 1250 microns). Perfect resistance to cathodic separation.

Perfect resistance to cathodic separation.

Perfect elasticity, hardness and impact resistance.

Exceptional resistance to many kinds of chemical substances.

Accessible in bright colors ensuring visibility in dark premises during operation and inspection.

Application and curing in ambient temperature – without the need of performing hot works.

Thanks to not using solvents, it limits the health and safety risks.

Perfect adherence to most metal surfaces, including carbon steel, stainless steel and special steels.

Belzona 1331 applications include:

Erosion and corrosion resistant coating for process tanks, separators, pumps, heat exchangers, and capacitors operated in immersion.

Epoxy layer to pipes securing circumferential seams of internal connections.

Repairing worn and damaged funnel tanks and chutes.

Durable anti-corrosion protection of scrubbers.
