Unbalanced rotor rotates around its central axle load during its operation.
Because bearings limit this movement, the centrifugal force, due to the lack of balancing, causes vibrations of the rotor. These vibrations cause the damage of bearings, unnecessary noise and in extreme cases even the destruction of the rotor.
The basic technical data regarding the mechanical part – rotors with load capacity to 50 kg:
- acceptable weight of balanced rotors:
– the lowest: 0.3 kg,,
– the highest: 50.0 kg,
- position of the balanced rotor axle: horizontal,
- number of correction planes: two,
- rotations of the balanced rotor resulting from the natural belt drive ratio
The basic technical data regarding the mechanical part – rotors with load capacity to 1500 kg:
- acceptable weight of balanced rotors:
– the lowest for the drive from the headstock: 10.0 kg,
– the lowest for the belt drive: 7.0 kg,
– the highest: 1500.0 kg,
- position of the balanced rotor axle: horizontal,
- number of correction planes: two,
- rotations of the balanced rotor:
resulting from the natural ratio for the belt drive or changed steplessly within 600 to 1400 rpm for the headstock drive.
Taking care of the highest standards of their work, Pompax service technicians approach with particular attention the process of balancing shafts and rotors.
Thanks to that, company customers can be sure their equipment will be more efficient and less susceptible to all kinds of mechanical damage resulting from the use of the given device in the facility.
