OVERHAUL OF THE PUMP ROBUSCHI RN 65-250 – paper pulp
The pump extremely worn and badly maintained.
The first activity was the dismantling of the pump from the workplace.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF PERFORMED MODERNIZING WOR
After delivering the pump to the service center, major overhaul was executed, which included:
- replacement of bearings in the bearing retainer,
- replacement of mechanical sealing,
- pump shaft replacement,
- replacement of o-rings.
Moreover, the pump was thoroughly cleaned while sandblasting from all signs of surface corrosion, and then painted.In the case of repairs of pumps Robuschi RN 65-250 it is necessary to take into consideration the longer execution time since the time of waiting for mechanical sealing amounted to 12 weeks.
