Overhauls of the pump Grundfos S1 404AM1A511Z 41kW
Single-stage centrifugal suction pump is intended to pump contaminated and process water as well as contaminated crude sewage. The pump is intended for wet installation and for both continuous and interrupted work. The single-channel rotor is suitable for pumping liquid with particles up to 100 mm. The adjustment system of the rotor gap SmartTrim allows maximum pump efficiency throughout its lifetime.
The pump repair took place in Pompax service center.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF PERFORMED MODERNIZING WORK
Service work included:
- pump dismantling and cleaning,
- replacement of mechanical sealing,
- replacement of motor bearings,
- replacement of humidity sensor elements.
After the above maintenance operations, the quality control was performed, including:
- performing motor overpressure tests,
- performing oil chamber overpressure tests,
- checking the shaft rotation slack,
- checking the front joint,
- pump test in the workstation,
- comparison of properties after tests with manufacturer’s properties,
- visual cable inspection,
- measurement of feeding cables.
